Scrollr Privacy Policy

Scrollr ("the app") is developed by Aidan, an individual developer. This policy explains what information the app handles and why. Contact: masteraidan1612@gmail.com.

Information stored on your device

Your coins, statistics (videos watched, time spent, ads watched), unlocked customizations, display name and profile picture are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded to any server we operate, because we don't operate one. Uninstalling the app deletes this data.

If you choose a profile picture, the app asks for access to your photo library and copies only the photo you pick into the app's private storage.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app is free and supported by ads served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:

• Device identifiers such as the Android Advertising ID or iOS IDFA (only with your permission on iOS)
• IP address and approximate location derived from it
• Device and app information, ad interactions, and diagnostic/crash data related to ads

This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Your choices: in the EEA, UK, Switzerland and certain US states you are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time from Customize → Privacy & ad settings. On Android you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in system settings. On iOS you can deny tracking through the App Tracking Transparency prompt.

Rewarded ads are always optional. Watching one grants in-app coins, which have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money or goods.

Video content (Pexels)

Videos are streamed from Pexels. When a video loads, your device connects to Pexels servers, which receive standard request data such as your IP address. See the Pexels Privacy Policy.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Data sharing and sale

We do not sell your personal information. Apart from the ad and video providers described above, no data is shared with third parties.

Deleting your data

Everything the app stores lives on your device. Uninstall Scrollr, or clear its storage in Android settings, to delete it. For data processed by Google for advertising, see My Ad Center.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
